District Taxes and Boundaries

The Jordan Lake Rehabilitation and Protection District (JLRPD) replaced the Jordan Lake Association in 2004. The primary purpose of the District is to preserve and maintain the quality of Jordan Lake in central Wisconsin. The District is managed by a Board of seven commissioners, including a chairperson, secretary, and treasurer.

District Taxes
The current annual tax levy for District land owners is $225 for lakefront property and $150 for non-lakefront property. Owners of more than one parcel pay only one time. The District taxes appear as a separate item on your real estate tax statement. IMPORTANT: Properties are taxed as entities based upon the way that they appear on their tax bills. If the names that appear on the tax bills are not exactly the same, each property will be taxed individually. Accordingly, properties held in separate trusts, partnerships, corporations, LLCs, LLPs, individual names or any other type of entity, are taxed as separate entities. Properties held in the same name will be taxed only once at the highest applicable rate for the properties involved.
